Kelly Named New OSWGA President

 

Diane Kelly has been named the new president of the Ocean State Women’s Golf Assn (OSWGA) for 2007. Kelly, who has been a member of the OSWGA for four years said, “We have a great organization and I want to continue to add value to the already strong membership and provide to women enjoyable by yet competitive golf at some of the most prestigious golf courses in the state.”

 

In other news from OSWGA, plans are well underway for next years events commented Executive Director and cofounder Trudy Dufault. “We plan to have between 25 and 28 tournaments next year. Our Rhode Island Women’s State Amateur will be held at Cranston Country Club July 24-27, 2007 and our Four-Ball event will be at North Kingstown June 25-27,” added Dufault. Entries for 2007 events are now being accepted at their website, www.oswga.org.
