Embedded Ball Rule in effect “through the green". Ball may be lifted, cleaned and dropped as

near as possible to the spot where it lay but not nearer the hole.

Cart Path extensions are deemed to be part of the obstruction. 

Player must ask fellow competitors before taking relief.

Newly seeded areas: Ground under Repair. Take the nearest point of relief, plus one club length ~ no penalty.

Newly Sodded Areas When a ball lies in a sod seam, the player shall lift the ball and clean it.

The player shall drop the ball as near as possible to where it originally lay which is not nearer the hole,

avoids interference by the condition and is not in a hazard or on a putting green.
